2/11/2023 0 Comments Vagrant story best weaponsMany have described Vagrant Story as "Medieval Gear Solid," a comparison that both is correct and not correct. What are Sydney's intentions, and how does Ashley play into his master plan? As with Final Fantasy Tactics, which was developed by the same team, the lines between good and evil are endlessly blurred and the story is complex and twisted. ![]() After a chance encounter with the heartless leader of the Mullenkamp Cult, Sydney Losstarot, Ashley finds himself in a life-or-death game of cat and mouse amidst a deeper plot larger than the two of them. Caught in the middle is Ashley Riot, an agent for the Valendia Knights of Peace's elite Riskbreaker unit. Despite a few interface and complexity issues, Vagrant Story is a rare and nearly perfected game.Ī brutal battle wages between the Knights of the Crimson Blade and the Mullenkamp Cult in the city of Lea Monde. A melange of the action, adventure and RPG genres, Square has truly beaten all odds and produced an engaging, seamless epic unlike any other. You should hear a voice say Roit.Let's just get it out of the way - Vagrant Story is a ground-breaking game. On the main menu push up, down, left, right, X, L2(3). It will simply say " The Blood Sin on Ashley's back burns". | Submitted by Inferno To get the rood inverse you have to once beat the game, after you have done this you will be able to go through any door locked with the rood inverse. Since this is when the computer considers you most vulnerable, it greatly increases your chances of getting high attribute gains. | Submitted by Apocolypse_333 As this can take a long time, another way is to save them until your risk is at max. If you don't get a high gain, simply reload and try again. One is to wait until you get to a save point. There are two ways of getting the most out of your Attribute Elixers. I have done this 2-4 successful times. | Submitted by Inferno There you can fight the original minotaur, and after a while you will recieve the hand of light. Instead of going back and forth to the minotaur sombie and minotaur lord, just go to the time attacks(near the warriors rest, or Keane:s workshop). Keep at this until you have the Hand of Light. ![]() After killing the Zombie minitour walk out and teleport to the temple of kilita, where there is a minitour lord. It will take you a long time to gain this incredible weapon. Attack the Right Arm (the arm it is holding the handle of the weapon in). The door behind it will take you to the minitour zombie. To get the Best weapon in the game, The Hand of Light (the great mace that the minitours carry) Go to where the human dummy is in the wine cellar. All of the time attacks are located in the keep, right before the iron maiden. To get the weapon Excalibur, (holy win, spiral hilt, one arturos gem and a beryl blackpearl) you must first finish your time attacks. I suggest doing all of your combining in the work shop "Godhands." You can combine everytype of material. To get Dread (Armor of all types, it's the best) you must combine two pieces of Jazzerjaint armor. Remember to keep your HP under 150 and use Break Arts as needed. If not, go to the third floor and back to try again. When you get to the room that takes you to the third floor, you will see an enemy holding the weapon. You have new enemies to face, so be ready. Now, use magic or Break Arts to lower your HP to below 150. Next, go back down the Iron Maiden until you get to the door to the second floor. During a replay game, enter the Iron Maiden and defeat Asura on the third floor. The last Boss has a weapon called the Holy Win, that is in the shape of the "Rood". This dummy counts as human experience on your weapons, so you can use it to built up that affinity. Right after the Minotaur battle in the Wine Cellar, you can use a training dummy to practice your chain combos. ![]() Extra Human Class Experience for Weapons. ![]() Finally, combine this with another Jazeraint armour to get the ultimate armour, Dread armour. | Submitted by DaveNightingale Then combine this with another Hoplite armour to get Jazeraint armour.
2/11/2023 0 Comments Video de angry birds star wars![]() Rovio Mobile has supported Angry Birds with numerous free updates that add additional game content, and the company has also released stand-alone holiday and promotional versions of the game.Īngry Birds was eventually praised by critics for its success at leveraging a combination of addictive gameplay, comical style, and low price into a viable franchise with long-term potential for profit. ![]() As players advance through the game, new types of birds become available (some with special abilities that can be activated by the player). The gameplay revolves around players using a slingshot to launch the birds at green pigs stationed in or around various structures, with the intent of destroying all the pigs on the playing field. A recreation of the game's content from 2012 was released as Rovio Classics: Angry Birds on March 31, 2022. Around April 2019, the original game was removed from the App Store. ![]() A sequel, Angry Birds 2, was released in July 2015 for iOS and Android. The series has since expanded to include titles for dedicated video game consoles and PCs. By October 2010, 12 million copies of the game had been purchased from the iOS App Store, which prompted the developer to design versions for other touchscreen-based smartphones, most notably Android, Symbian, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry 10 devices. Inspired primarily by a sketch of stylized wingless birds, the game was first released for iOS and Maemo devices starting in December 2009. Your camera’s night vision, limited by your scarce supply of batteries, reflects enemies’ eyes in the distance as they inch - or worse, spring - ever closer. Swinging flashlights in the distance denote oncoming enemies. Questions like that are further heightened by Outlast 2’s fidelity and attention to detail. Should I hide now or try to make a break for it before some killer turns around the bend? If I sprint, can I make it to the next door before anyone stops me? Christian doomsday cult wouldn’t own any firearms.Īs it has since 2010, when Amnesia popularized the “no fighting” rule of modern horror games, this funneled me towards a lot of tense, if not actually frightening, decisions. Actually, next to Blake’s determination, the next least believable thing to me about Outlast 2 is that a U.S. Combat, though, is a no-no, even though the town’s mumbling, murderous citizens, in a show of good sport, hardly ever carry anything more dangerous or long-range than a kitchen knife. Sprinting, hiding in blood-filled barrels, and crouching behind tall grass are all options. There are no such restrictions here, although you’re still very restricted in what you can do and where you can go to escape pursuers. The previous Outlast solved this by locking me in a single abandoned mental hospital - where escape literally wasn’t an option and weapons would be improvised at best. Seriously, it’s unbelievable to me that any human being would go through the carnival funhouse of carnage Blake does, rather than flee in search of authorities or even, like, a telephone first. ![]() Which wouldn’t be so bad if the fundamentalists didn’t also think Blake’s wife was pregnant with the Antichrist and/or they didn’t appear to have some kind of supernatural powers.įrom there, an unbelievable hunt for Blake’s wife begins. Blake, our protagonist, runs and hides his way through a decrepit village of cultist Christians who believe the world is about to tend. Unlike the first game, Outlast 2 takes place in the Arizona desert. Also like the first game, your only options for survival are to run and hide. Which is a shame, since Outlast 2 clearly grasps the mechanisms for delivering fear, if not the more restrained and/or affecting imagery to sell with it.Īs in the first game, you play a reporter. It’s just so uniformly cranked up past splatterpunk safety levels that it becomes torpid. The sensory overload isn’t scary - certainly not as scary as this wonderfully rendered nightmare, as nearly always seen through the claustrophobic lens of a handheld camera, probably deserves to be. ![]() Within that span, I saw a flayed corpse, crawled through a mass grave, and watched my avatar’s crotch get obliterated in first-person about 11 different times. There’s so much viscera and violence, physical and otherwise, in the game’s opening 15 minutes that it’s hard to distinguish one giblet from the other. Outlast 2 hits the ground running… and screaming, and burning, and bleeding, and swearing. 2/11/2023 0 Comments Signal vs whatsapp![]() ![]() Koum in some reports is still connected to Facebook. Sounds dystopian but it’s Mark Zuckerberg’s company and it’s down to him how he runs it for better (or for worse).Īs for the founders Koum and Acton, they have both gone their separate ways. With information obtained from Facebook, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, and now WhatsApp, will allow Facebook to develop a pretty sophisticated marketing machine which is a dream for all marketing folks around the world but we’ll never know how that information is ultimately used. In a nutshell, the new policy will allow WhatsApp to share data with Facebook. Interestingly, because of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements, users in the EU would not be subject to the new policy. The straw that ultimately broke the camel’s back was an extremely visible announcement made by WhatApp for a new privacy policy which users have to accept by 8 February 2021 or cease using the app. Want to save your chats? You can, but the files are not cross compatible, as Apple users need to use iCloud and Android users can back up on Gmail and guess what? Apple users cannot reinstall from Gmail and vice versa, so switching platforms is a pain. For one thing, its features are rather antiquated, as users can only have the app on one phone, and on one PC using the web interface. Ultimately this turned out well when Facebook acquired WhatsApp to the tune of US$19.3 billion in February 2014.Įven before its acquisition, WhatsApp was one of the most popular messaging apps in the world, and Facebook acquisition took the app to a wider group of users, though it also brought along a good amount of drama behind it. Interestingly, both founders applied to Facebook sometime in 2007 but were rejected. WhatsApp was launched in 2009 by Brian Acton and Jan Koum. Some might even recall that WhatsApp used to be a paid app, before it went free, and before it was acquired by Facebook. WhatsApp is not the same WhatsApp that you had downloaded the very first time you owned an Apple iPhone. Number of users: 2 billion active users (March 2020)Ĭlaim to fame: Probably your first chat app on your very first smartphone Here are comparable, if not superior alternatives for you, to bring your next group chats on, and let’s face it, what you choose is dependent on features, your political inclinations and if you have the will to make all your friends migrate with you. The alternatives are free, but as they say, if you’re not paying for the product, you are the product. And while it might not be abandoning anything, Telegram is reporting it gained 25 million users in 72 hours, which means users are tired of the change in rules.īut the alternatives out there… are not quite as simple. Except in Europe, because strict data protection laws are preventing Facebook from doing this thing.īut short of moving to Europe, there’s little you can do, because this has been going on for quite some time, and your only option is to abandon WhatsApp for an alternative. Even though the company has always said this would happen, and in some cases, it already happened. This sent alarm bells ringing to even the most nonchalant of folks like your boomer uncle. Recently, Facebook-owned WhatsApp alerted users that information obtained from their chats on the platform will be shared across the Facebook family and the free social network service will be using that information with advertisers, to help companies market their products more efficiently, based on the level of interest you’re sharing. We hold it close to our hearts when it’s comfortable, but we readily hand over our email, phone number and even home address for random contests, believing deep down that those personal information will never find their way in the wrong hands.īut reality has caught up with us and while we readily trade personal information to use many services for ‘free’ *coughGmailcoughFacebookcough*, this tradeoff is coming to the end of the road. Privacy in the modern era is a tricky thing. 2/11/2023 0 Comments The black masses game plot![]() Cooper takes half-measures to honor both directors with, respectively, ear-blasting executions and a token nightclub scene, but the vast majority of Black Mass plays out with the numbing rhythm and flat imagery of the procedural. Connolly is a layered protagonist undergoing a spiritual crisis worthy of the Scorsese treatment, while Bulger is a taciturn antihero who, like Michael Mann’s men of action, only seems to speak in the imperative. The two form an interesting partnership, but Black Mass’s journalistic tenor doesn’t allow their relationship to achieve any sort of emotional grandeur. Connolly’s lies become a misguided attempt to achieve greatness, while Bulger’s are purely transactional in nature. Black Mass’s shrewdest decision is to contrast Edgerton’s antsy approach to Connolly’s double life with Depp’s tempered, clinical take on Bulger. As Connolly, Edgerton nails the unique hypersensitivity of Boston bravado, strutting around in tailored suits and meekly attempting to weasel out of every half-truth he’s caught peddling. Every conversation between Bulger and Connolly hinges explicitly on their shared heritage (hostility toward Italian-Americans is a running theme without a payoff), and Bulger’s power plays lay a moral burden on the government agent tasked to expose Bulger and act against his own community. Like any crime saga without a more potent thematic hook, the film’s relentlessly insular script, by Jez Butterworth and Mark Mallouk, dwells on themes of loyalty and fraternity. Earl Brown, Peter Sarsgaard) appear as partners and associates, but Whitey’s network of thugs feels as sparsely populated as Black Mass’s city streets. None lead to a good joke.) A few shots of money-counting machines constitute the glory of Whitey’s operation, and a handful of solid actors (Jesse Plemons, Rory Cochrane, W. (There are repeated references to a turf war over vending machines, along with a stretch devoted to Bulger’s relationship with the owner of World Jai Alai. The film will teach casual viewers that Bulger made money by running drugs and guns and laundering money, but the nuts and bolts of his criminal empire are left to the imagination, perhaps because some of them are profoundly uncinematic. Though the film succeeds in conveying the “unholy alliance” between two cocksure Southie brethren, it fails to make much sense of the richly detailed, ethnically charged world they inhabited.īlack Mass is deeply invested in the mythology of the Bulger case, but doesn’t bother to explain much of it. agent who coaxed Bulger into becoming an informant while abetting the criminal’s rise to regional kingpin status. The film, which plays like a barrage of bullet points punctuated by a smattering of bullets, takes a dutiful approach to the evidence against James “Whitey” Bulger (Johnny Depp), the head of South Boston’s Winter Hill Gang, and John Connolly (Joel Edgerton), the F.B.I. It is, all told, an appropriate setting for the dour and dispassionate Black Mass, a lightly dramatized case file that’s structurally averse to world-building and psychological portraiture. In director Scott Cooper’s Boston, interiors fade into blackness, meetings happen in alleyways, and it always looks like it just stopped raining. ![]() Renoir persisted in his cinematic pursuits until the late sixties, when, after the completion of The Little Theater of Jean Renoir, a collection of three short films, he decided to dedicate himself solely to writing, leaving the future of the medium to those who looked to him in reverence. After a brief, unfulfilling Hollywood stint during World War II, Renoir traveled to India to make his first Technicolor film, The River, and then returned to Europe in the early fifties to direct three visually dazzling explorations of theater, The Golden Coach, French Cancan, and Elena and Her Men. After making his mark in the early thirties with two very different films, the anarchic send-up of the bourgeoisie Boudu Saved from Drowning and the popular-front Gorky adaptation The Lower Depths, Renoir closed out the decade with two critical humanistic studies of French society that routinely turn up on lists of the greatest films ever made: Grand Illusion and The Rules of the Game (the former was celebrated in its time, but the latter was trashed by critics and audiences-until history provided vindication). The son of the great impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Jean Renoir was also a master of his medium: cinema. 2/11/2023 0 Comments Final earth 2 secret codes cheats![]() or pay per tour, even better resource sink. if the flying saucers stop running, have an added feature to fly tours.got flowers? why not add bees? warm yellow would also go great in the palette.that would also be a better visualization of how many generations are cycling through. or short of that, add an extra cost to housing for the robo-nanny, until they're a certain age. this'll probably be a pain, a huge pain, but is there any way to get super young children to be housed with older people? i don't mind them traipsing into pubs or whatever, let them dance.it's low gravity, probably no one will die! random stuff like if you have a pub next to open air, you can pay them to randomly drop things from high places.it would completely eat up processing, but could there be a room usage / population count? maybe daily, it doesn't have to be realtime the charts and graphing is great! it's edging to 'good teaching tool', seriously.tinkerers also seemed like a dead end with lots of potential.like some conjunction with alien research and number of houses, maybe transform the supercomputer. this is sci-fi, after a certain point they should trigger something. what would blow this game open is water management.waste management is tracking viruses IRL, are they not essential? this could be another tree for the hospital are the pubs supposed to look like the bar and chairs spell "inn"? also there's a mysterious pub that doesn't look like the rest, screenie coming.once you stack octagons, those look *great* It also feels like it should have rounded or cut corners, like it's a spaceship module that got converted to research tent. this is a small thing, but alien research is over-saturated, and frankly clashes terribly (at least on my monitor).only one escape room? boo! many escape rooms! it's such a fun color scheme, too.If just the restaurants employed 3 people - front of house, service, back of house, that would've solved everything and allowed me my design as well.
